Hello & Namaste!
So glad to see you on my blog!
Today, this time demands a balanced and stable mind! But many of us are struggling hard to keep this up.
It may be, due to overwhelming 'Not So Positive' information flooding around us most of the times.
Since we all are fairly aware of the reality, yet few of us manage to keep up to good healthy mind, and many try hard to do so and many of us just can't get a hold on to it!
But the fact is; - 'If they can, anyone can'.
So for grounds of guidance, i have listed down few suggestions which might help you out keeping mind fitness during the harsh phase in life!
Disclaimer here is, keeping positive thoughts always, is what comes first, but don't force to control and try to stop your mind to think, as a mind's job is -'To Think'. Right?
So rather struggling to force shutting down our minds, let's divert it towards substantially enjoy-able thoughts! What you say?
So let's jump ahead and explore

Many of us are spending most of our time on overwhelming news coverage, in order to keep ourselves updated with every single countdown. But have you noticed the more time we spend with news channels;the more stressed we are! So rather, i suggest to limit our news consumption to short period of time.
2. Find out a meaningful passion
In our lives, we all have been wanting some time for our own-selves. Isn't it?
I think this is the best time to unfold 'That Ambition' now!
It will not only keeping you away from unwanted thoughts but also opens the possibility to explore more.
3. Stretch to relax

Do you know? stretching is the best way to increase body flexibility, increases blood flow, relax muscles and your mind too. So when there are so many benefits , why staying away?
Schedule 10 minutes in your routine and let's be happy and healthy!
4. Learn something new
Every day is a new day and every new day should have something new to learn about! Let's stretch the possibility of learning more, jump into your interests, learn new things like dancing, art, singing, baking, painting, diy, home decor, music, learn new language etc.

Yes! you got it right, cooking is a relaxing exercise for mind, it also develops the skill of multi-tasking and time management. So those who do - Clap for them and those who don't- i encourage you to enjoy it!
6. Go minimalist
I can talk about it the whole day long, a sorted home leads a sorted mind! Keeping your space neat and clean can actually de-clutter mind as well. Due to lock-down, we have this opportunity that we can make use of it and make it a part of our lives forever.
7. Read to lead
Adding a habit of reading not only a good mental exercise, it also adds to your personality and routine, so start developing this habit and don't forget to come back and share your views with me.
8. Connect with spirituality

This one is very personal, just listening to some good chants, instrumental music, lighting up 'Diya' and giving gratitude can actually do wonders for your mental peace, if you want some of my musical recommendations or elaboration on this topic? Do share in comment section or connect with me on other social media platforms, i would love to share my experiences, tricks and routine on that.

Eating right kind of food with right quantity and at right time, does actually adds to mental fitness, avoid eating more of spicy and oily and 'Tamasik (as in ayurveda)' food and focus more on gut healthy 'Satvik (as in ayurveda)' food. If you want me to elaborate on this topic, do share your view on comment section or connect with me on other social media platforms! I would be glad to help you out with my expertise in that.
10. Sweat it out
Believe it or not, i recommend dancing for at least half and hour can make you feel more alive and relaxed. And if you are not into dancing, you can engage into physical exercises for half an hour or untill you start sweating on forehead and armpit.
11. Relax and sleep well

Sleeping well comes from sleeping timings, As per ayurvedic body clock, an ideal time for sleep is 10.00pm-10.30pm to 4.00am-4.30am. And yes i have noticed a huge difference since i have started to apply this to my life too.
12. Exercise for mind
As for body, exercising mind is also important, playing puzzles and riddles etc are good to keep your mental health up.
13. Head massage
A good and mild oily head massage helps increasing blood flow and relax your mind. So try and enjoy this little hack here.

At end i would say laughing is the medicine of all the issues in the world, so laugh and make others laugh as much as possible, it will not only strengthen your immune system but also adds so much positivity around. And at the contrary staying away from alcohol, as it decreases immunity and adds negativity to our mind.
So let's wrap it up here, i hope these tricks and tips will help you stay strong and healthy.
