WHAT IS AYURVEDIC CLOCK?
A timer
inherited in us by Mother Nature, which connects our body’s function with
Mother Earth. Predominantly in tune with the cycle of setting and rising of
Sun and Moon.

influence isn’t limited to just sleep and wakefulness. It also dictates all
other functional activities of your body like temperature, hunger, mental alertness,

Ayurveda prescribes optimal timing for eating,
sleeping, bathing,
exercising along with all the other activities in body.
Which dependent
on the normal 24-hour cycle of light and darkness.

Intending,
for your easy-breezy better understanding and
transformation, I have created a Routine
Planner, which is in
canopy of Ayurveda.
DISCLAIMER: Here, I have deliberately
compiled and aligned with usual - one
and all activities. So tweaking marginally, in demands of your indifferent
activities might be all right.

5AM-6AM
► In the early morning, is an ideal time to meditate because the veil is thin between the physical and spiritual worlds.
► You can connect more easily to stillness and peace when there is less activity outside you and things are quiet and etheric.
6AM-10AM
► A glass of vegetable juice or nutrient rich breakfast nourishes the
internal system at this time (7am-9am).
10AM-2PM:
► Make lunch a more substantial meal (1pm-2pm)
► This is the best time of the day to eat
your largest meal as the digestive
fire is the strongest in the middle of the day.
2PM-6PM:
► Socialize and share
creative conversations.
► This is the best time for mental and
creative energy as the nervous system is more active at this time.
►Must have noticed, that you often crave
highly-processed snacks at this time, indicating exhaustion, blood sugar
fluctuations, or poor digestion.
6PM-7PM
► Eat an earlier, lighter dinner to allow the evening
fire, to digest primarily mental information.
► Focus on cell repair and not be taxed with digesting heavy food.

7PM-10PM:
► This is the best time to begin settling
down for sleep.
► Certainly have noticed, that you begin
to feel tired around this time-frame.
► Invite the heavy, sleepy feeling that is natural in the evenings
by taking an evening bath or shower and practicing warm oil massage.
►Turn off your screens and reach for a relaxing book before 9:00 pm
at the latest.
Go to bed before 10:00 pm
10PM-2AM:
► This is the best time to be sleeping.
► The liver starts to detox your body and we are getting ready to go into rest
and repair mode.
► If you are consistently awake or toss and turn during this time, the
detox can be disturbed.
The pitch is to get
in tune with your clock, not against it.
2AM-6AM:
► The nervous system starts to activate
during this time.
► This is the best time to sleep deeply
and naturally wake up before sunrise.

This understanding of practice, has
been around for thousands of years and further travelled through the science of
Ayurveda.
Nevertheless, the so called New Age Lifestyle,
made it worrisome- to ignore the natural
rhythm of Mother Earth!

✯ Reset yourself, but not all at once.
✯ Small
shifts can align your habits.
✯ Lack of rhythm takes a toll.
✯ A glass of warm water first thing in the morning, can optimize functional activities of body.
✯ 20 minute afternoon naps can recharge your body with energy.
✯ Reading before bedtime can fuel sleep quality.
✯ A glass of warm milk, half an hour before sleep assist in uninterrupted satisfying night’s sleep.
